Wine Spectator talks to the owner of the London shop, Yevgeny Chichvarkin, who has amassed a collection ranging from 20 buck bottles to price tags of over one million dollars, the latter for a Penfold's Grange vertical dating from 1955 to 2008. Plus 105 magnums thrown in for good measure.
And that bottle from the Jura? This 18th Century wine will set you back 120,000 dollars. That's about $24K per five-ounce glass. Maybe get a few (thousand) friends to go in on a bottle and savor a thimble-ful?
