ARTICLES ABOUT THIS WINE

Frankland Estate Rocky Gully Riesling 2012

Generous plum and red fruits, black pepper and spice with subtle integration of oak. A generous middle weighted palate with juicy fruit and a lifted integration of black pepper and spice notes with a long and persistent finish. The small addition of viognier with vibrant shiraz fruit notes gives aromatic lift and subtle texture which makes the wine more approachable in its youth. Good acidity and fine tannins combine to create a soft finishing, well weighted cool climate style. Ideal food wine which will complement many dishes including pork, lamb and duck.
