Gallica's only white wine is sourced from Rorick Heritage Vineyard located just outside no apostrophe Murphys, California. Situated north of Yosemite National Park in the Sierra foothills at 2000 feet above sea level (607 m), the soils are rich in limestone producing a crisp and vibrant wine. The bottling is primarily Albarino with a touch of Muscat Blanc. The grapes were pressed after six hours of skin contact followed by fermentation and aging in stainless and neutral French oak barrels for nine months. Refreshingly acidic, yet supple and round, the small addition of Muscat Blanc drives the length with stone fruit, melon, and a phenolic lift. The synergy created with these two varieties is aromatic heaven with notes of alyssum flower, white peach, lime and ever -so -subtle lemon verbena. 180 cases produced.
