Porta Bohemica Muller Thurgau 2013

Grapes are hand harvested and destemmed, and ferment with indigenous yeast in 1000 liter open topped wood vats. The wine remains in contact with the skins for two days, and is then pressed and racked to 1500 liter stainless steel tanks for evelage. The wine spends six months on the fine lees, then is aged for another two months before being bottled without filtration or clarification, and a minimal dose of sulfur.

Dry yet fruity wine with soft acidity, low alcohol and a salty finish.
