On Eric Asimov's "Why Oregon will remember 2011"

In his December 25th, column in the New York Times Eric Asimov is exuberant in his praise of Oregon's 2011 Pinot Noirs. A long and cool growing season combined with a warm October produced wines that are more restrained and characterized by "freshness and subtlety with flavors primarily of red fruits, flowers and minerals."
