The Telegraph reports on a study that shows a glass of wine per day could increase the risk of Alzheimer's. "Those drinking between 14 and 21 units of alcohol a week - six to nine medium glasses of wine - were three times more likely than teetotallers to suffer hippocampal atrophy."

The New York Times explores the Trump Winery. “She spent $200 million building the most incredible vineyard,” Mr. Trump said of Ms. Kluge. “I bought it for $6 million at auction. It was amazing.”

Eater on Presiden't Trump's immigration policies and the impact on the the wine industry. "The labor shortage, according to local winemakers, began with the Obama administration’s vigorous clampdown on illegal immigration. But now workers are living in fear of a much more aggressive and indiscriminate enforcement-only policy, which doesn’t just focus on criminals, but treats all undocumented workers as equal targets for deportation."

The Associated Press reports on a peacock breaking bottles in a Los Angeles wine store. "He was trying to get it with the fishing net, and (the bird) jumped on the first wine bottle. When that happened, I was like, 'Aw, this is about to be a big mess,' " Ghanem said. "He tried to get it again with the net ... It just went straight diving into all the bottles."
