Finding Love in the Supermarket Wine Aisle

Valentine's Day may have come and gone, but that doesn't mean that love can't happen the other 364 days of the year. Take the story of Susi Welland and Andy Williams, who met in a supermarket wine aisle, fell in love, and are getting married this June. The Asda supermarket in the seaside town of Llandudno in Wales, as the Daily Post details, was the serendipitous site of the two meeting back in 2012. Welland was looking for pizza and wine for a girls' night while Williams, a confirmed beer drinker, was picking up wine based on his son's plea for him to stock up on some reds and whites. (Possibly for when he visits? Smart kid.) The couple locked eyes, started talking, and, in the words of Williams, it was an "instant attraction". You can add Williams' remark about his fateful wine buying trip to any "Understatement of the Year" contest: “I’m so glad I walked into Asda that Friday evening.”

My only question is what wines will they have at the reception?
