Quadcopter Provides Close-up Views of Napa Earthquake Damage

Evan Kilkus, Editor at the Lake Berryessa News, used a quadcopter ("drone") to take this footage in downtown Napa after the earthquake on August 24th. It shows close-ups of the damage to buildings. Kilkus explains, "This video is intended for educational purposes to show builders and building owners across the world the results of this earthquake....This video is also intended to show how a quadcopter/ drone can be used to help identify hazards and asses damage in this situation."

Napa Valley Vintners has put together a "How You Can Help" page on their website detailing the ways in which you can assist those affected by the earthquake.
